Substack boggles my mind
Old codger here, one who publishes a website and a monthly newsletter aimed at old adults as I think many of them need a little “hand-holding” with computer work. That isn’t insinuating they are incapable, not at all. Just that they may not use computers enough so they easily get the most out of them. I am one of those. I use a desktop with WIN10 daily for a few hours but I still find it overwhelming when new features, updates to apps come in and the learning begins again.
The above situation regarding new features and constant learning can be overwhelming for older users, maybe for all ages users but it does drive me crazy.
Right now, I am trying to learn Substack as I feel what I know, what I write about in my publications, a website and a monthly newsletter, need broader publication and exposure. So, once I am confident my Substack is working as it should and being published as I expect, I will begin writing comments and information about computer tools and computer use which I think will be of value to computer users who are like me, limited skills but eager to be able to get more out of computer use and exploration of that world.
Best,
Richard
